My
wish for keeping a daughter of Avik came true when
I brought little Babette at home. She was the only
female in the litter of 8, a very small girl from
the start, so "Babette" seemed like a name
on place for her. She was the cutest pup with big
eyes and amazing expression. I named her after a night
creature from the movie Labyrinth, who had the same
big eyes like her.
They became best friends with Avik, first time they
met. Avik was taking care of her and watching over
her like if he knew that she was his little daughter.
Babette never enjoyed shows much, so I decided to
end her career in Junior Class. By the time she was
11 months old, she finished 2 Junior Championship
titles and 1 Jugendklubsiegerin title.
Babette is a very gentle girl, but at the same time
very focused and strong if needed. She is a very good
example of a boxer female - kind, feminine, stable,
brave and she's also an excellent mother. She is a
very smart girl too - able to adapt and find solutions
very quickly.
Babette
had only one litter until now. I'm planning for her
to be a mother 2, maybe 3 more times. Hope that she
will have a lot of pleasure nursing all her next litters,
as much as she had with her first - "U"
litter.
She will always remind me of her dad. Only now, when
he's gone, I can see how much she resembles him.
I’m very happy that Babette is with me.

On 17/06/2010 we had to say goodbye to our dear Babette,
too soon and unexpected. Cancer.
Sleep now my little mouse. I miss you. |
